This practice is 40 mins long and is based out of the shallow end.
Juniors: the middle group which typically is 9-12 years focuses on building on the strokes and starts from pups while starting to build endurance for longer races. Junior swimmers also develop their technique of Breaststroke and Butterfly as well as are introduced to tumble turns and the Individual Medley. This practice is 50 mins long and is based out of the deep end.
Seniors: the oldest group which typically is 13+ years focusses on perfecting technique in all four strokes, turns, starts, and building endurance for the longest races. This practice is 1hr and is based out of the deep end?

Individual races start shortly after, break for lunch of 30 mins -1hr depending on the timeline, once individual races are done, relays are swam, an average meet will conclude around 4pm with medals for top swimmers in each age groups to be handed out afterwards.
